‘Brick wall after brick wall: The NDIS Experience for Childhood Dementia Families' reports on the experiences of families with Australia's National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). It was created for Childhood Dementia Initiative by Claire Treadgold Consulting in 2025.
Childhood Dementia Initiative presented the ‘Brick Wall After Brick Wall' report to the NDIS and discussed the specific needs of children living with dementia extensively. Childhood Dementia Initiative and the NDIS are actively collaborating to improve supports for participants with childhood dementia. We are working together to improve the knowledge of the NDIS and to consider responsive approaches that recognise the progressive nature of these conditions. We look forward to our continued partnership on this important work.
