Brett Himbury

Brett is non-executive director and senior advisor to a number of commercial, charitable and community organisations. This follows a successful executive career spanning over 38 years in financial services.

Brett was most recently CEO of IFM Investors for ten years where he led the transformation and globalisation of the firm. Under Brett’s leadership, IFM was one of the highest performing, fastest growing firms in the highly competitive global funds management industry. His multilingual team was in 9 offices globally and served clients in 23 countries. Brett has held a range of leadership roles and has always sought to bring the very best out in the teams and organisations he has had the privilege to work with. The impact on the stakeholders he, and they, have served has been significant, impactful and long-lasting.

Brett is married with two adult children and has an MBA (Exec) from the Australian Graduate School of Management at the University of NSW.
