Childhood dementia info
Childhood dementia is caused by genetic conditions kids are born with. It makes it harder and harder to remember things, learn and move.
1. Set a date in September and pick your FACE it activity
Invite students to arrive at school with colourful faces or get creative at school with face stickers or paints. The possibilities are endless. You might like to hold your day on September 21, Childhood Dementia Day.
2. Invite students and teachers to make a gold coin or $5 donation
Register your school to show the world you care and get your registration pack with everything you need to get going. You’ll get posters, content for newsletters and emails, videos and info sheets to build interest.
3. Raise awareness by making your faces colourful
Share these videos on childhood dementia to raise awareness. Special challenge: Learn one thing about childhood dementia and tell people why you’re so colourful! #FACEit #childhooddementia.

What to use:
- Face paints.
- Use what’s in the house. Eyeliner, lipstick, eyeshadow – these will work too.
